ADHD and other conditions
These are some of the conditions and difficulties that can exist alongside ADHD. ADHD may affect how they develop, what keeps them going, or how easy it is to use treatment. Support may need adapting—not necessarily replacing.
This is a selection, not a complete list. Some less common combinations are not covered; others need more specialised understanding and treatment based on the individual. Being left out does not mean a condition cannot coexist with ADHD.
Having more than one condition is sometimes called comorbidity. Similar symptoms can also have different explanations; these pages are not a way to diagnose yourself.
